✨ This stunning mineral is made up of Manganese, Phosphate and Iron, it can have an iridescent look to it in differing lights (Pleochroism) 
🗣️ Its name,  "Purpurite" is derived from the Latin word "purpura," meaning purple. Although its colour can range from violet, pink, red and crimson and when polished or worked with in some way it can show up brown, super deep purple as with these stunning spheres or even black due to the manganese being oxidized.
🌎 Most Purpurite or rare purple stone are found in Namibia 🇳🇦 but it is found across Europe, America and China as well.
